This was the residence of the furniture designer Gustav Stickley. It was his house, which he designed and built in 1911. There are people like me who are very interested in that. It is now a museum, albeit a highly specialized one (and very beautiful). But don't go there expecting to learn about the battle of Morristown or see an exhibit of Rembrandts and then write a disappointed review. Go there to learn about Gustav Stickley.

Beautiful historic building and grounds. Great place to explore early 20th century history.

this was the early 20th century 'farm' artisan workshops by the famous furniture maker and house designer. Interesting.

Very interesting! I had no idea Stickley lived in NJ. It's cool to find and learn local history. Beautiful furniture pieces are placed as they were when Stickley lived there.

Had the best time at their family day. We are really looking forward to their winter time fesrival!
