A 3,000-year old rock shelter and petroglyphs an hour from NYC? Very cool. How to experience: 1) drive to dead-end in suburbia 2) check out the shelter 3) walk 30 feet due east to search for the ancient carving on the south side of a boulder (super hard to see...) 4) try to pick up some trash on the way out. :)
